Resume for the BARPP-B

The materials of the Bank are divided into three chronological periods corresponding to the early (36000-27000), middle (26000-20000) and late (19000-10000) phases of the Upper Palaeolithic.

The distribution of the archaeological sites with palynological and palaeobotanical data on the early, middle and late phases of the Upper Palaeolothic are illustrated by maps.

European Pollen Database text table formats as well as some additionally developed ones are used for presentation of general information on geographical position, archaeology, stratigraphy, geochronology and bibliography of every section with palaeobotanical or palynological data.

BARPP-B contains graphs, diagrams, photographs and SEM-micrographs of palaeobotanical objects, floristic or statistic pollen tables, maps of palaeobotanical reconstuctions, palaeoclimatic curves and other graphic materials.

Presented information may interest archaeologists, wide range of natural science specialists (palynologists, palaeobotanists, palaeoclimatologists, palaeogeographs, ecologists, quarternary geologists etc.), students and libraries.
